Please pray for my son. Update!
Hi mamas!
I am a nervous wreck because my son,who is 9 came to me about five weeks ago, complaining of a bump that was bothering him on his bottom. I looked at it, and knew it didn't look good. We went to our pediatrician who referred us to a pediatric dermatologist. He had his appointment today and she was worried about how it looked. It has irregular borders, is blue, pink and dark brown and was raised. I knew it looked bad,but the look on her face when she saw it worried me. She said she thought about referring us to a surgeon to in case it was melanoma so that he wouldn't have to have two procedures. We ended up going with it removed in her office, but she said she just couldn't say that it wasn't melanoma or a spitz nevus, which greatly resembles melanoma. We should get back the results sometime next week,but our family could use the prayers. Thank you! I need someone to tranquilize me!
We heard from our son's nurse yesterday morning and his mole was completely benign. We have so much to be thankful for. Thanks everyone for your prayers!:goodvibes:
