I think the pockets run larger. The rise is definitely higher on my 4.0 than on my freetime with DS even though both are set on the 2nd row of snaps. Personally, I prefer my 4.0. The main reason is the flaps on the freetime. They annoy me LOL, especially when trying to knock poo in the toilet. I wanted to try the FT and thought they would be easier for DH but he rarely uses them, usually goes for the 4.0 or PF & covers LOL.

I also think the 4.0's run larger than the freetimes. My three year old wears a diaper at night and the 4.0's fit her way better than the freetimes.

I prefer the pockets because I can stuff them with pad folded prefolds- I have been having so many issues with getting microfiber clean that it is now banned in my household. The freetimes are really great diapers though if you can get the wash routine right.

Re: Bg pockets vs bg freetime
I am totally in LOVE with the Freetimes!!!! I just switched my whole stash over because I love how much they hold, how easy they wash and dry, and how well they fit. My 17 month old can easily hold for 3-4 hours where my 4.0's seem to only last for 2 hours and are more likely to leak.

I LOVE the Freetime! It's super easy to use and dries fast. My little one can wear it for quite a while before needing to be changed. And so far, we've not had any issues with microfiber. I've not paid attention to whether or not one is bigger than the other so I'll have to check it out! :)
