So scared of miscarriage..

:( ill be 10 weeks on tuesday and the further along I get the more scared I am...I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks before nd it was awful but at least I didn't have to pass an actual baby..I'm just scared. But at the same time as each week passes I feel better and closer to the safe zone..
I think mostly I have it in my mind that since I had a m/c between my kids that it will happen again. :(

:hugs: the first trimester is scary. I know this is trite but worrying won't make your bean stick. Try to be positive, try to rest and be as healthy as possible.

Re: So scared of miscarriage..

I'm on my sixth pregnancy (2 births, 3 miscarriages) and I'll be 16 weeks Tuesday. And I'm STILL scared of miscarriage. Just have faith in your ability to get pregnant and carry to term :) I push those thoughts out as quickly as they come. I remind myself that I am pregnant RIGHT NOW and I'm going to enjoy it! I had bleeding for 3 weeks in the beginning of this pregnancy and went on to run a half marathon at 10 weeks and am now starting to feel the baby move. Despite the risk in the beginning I allowed myself to plan for this baby (because there is a baby in there) and get excited. It was the greatest gift I could to myself and my husband.
