Fast heart rate always a girl?
I had my 16 weeks midwife appt today & baby's heart rate was 160s.

The midwife said "girl range".

Always true?! Or varies?

At my 12 week appt our babies hb was 140 and The dr said it sounds like a boy. A couple of weeks ago we had our ultrasound and we are having a boy. The highest heart rate so far has been 147. So we fell into the old wives tale of heartbeat :)

My babies' hrs have always been 140's, no matter the gender.

My heartrate with this one at around 10 weeks was 160ish. Heartrates have not dropped below 150, and I am almost 17 weeks. Hoping for girl. We shall see! Sadly, don't remember heartrates with my three boys. :(

It was true for me the first time, but it's been proven in a few studies just to be a fun old wive's tale.

Mine is always in the 140's and I'm having a girl. I truly thought it was a boy.

My girls were always in the 140s to 150s...all three are girls :)

My boys were all in the low 130s. Dd is my only girl and she was always between 145 ad 160. :)

My two boys were 130's-140's, my two girls were 160's-170's.... And my genders were staggered so there was no real explanation for why it worked out like that. I was also soooo much more sick with my girls! :P
