Does anyone take meds for ADD while nursing?

I personally don't because I am not prescribed them in the first place. BUT, I have a friend who normally took Adderall but was switched to Vyavance during pregnancy. I would THINK if it was safe during pregnancy, it would be safe during BF as well, but that is just an assumption, so PLEASE take this with a grain of salt. There are a couple of Lactation Consultants here who I'm sure can give you a way better answer. I would definitely consult your doctor in an case.

Wow I'm shocked that not a single person here takes meds for ADD while breastfeeding...

My SIL weans her babies pretty young (like a few months old) so that she can go back on ADD meds--I believe Adderall.
