Would it bother you if baby was born on dh's x birthday?
 

Dh thinks I am over reacting...Baby is due 12/5. His x wife(of 13 years) birthday is 12/5. Obviously if baby comes than I will accept it, but I certainly hope that it will not be that day. Am I odd?

BTW, there are no hard feelings or anger between each other. Just would rather baby have his own day...

I think it would bug me but I'd be okay if it happened on that day and make it his day not dweal on the x's

I went into labor only July 5th. July 5th and 6th would have been shared birthdays with people I can't stand because they are so nasty to others. I had my son 12:17 am on July 7th. I swear subconsciously I couldn't relax enough to have a baby those days. Midnight hit and all the sudden the baby shifted and we got a move on lol.

I wouldn't worry too much. Chances for a baby on your due date are slim.

I'm glad to hear that I am not odd in my feelings. Of course I would accept it and and make it his day. Not trying to dwell as it isn't even an issue yet, but dh just doesn't get it.

I don't want my kids to share a birthday with anyone! I was freaking out I gave birth at 10:58pm and midnight would have been MIL bday.

No, I really wouldn't care. But then again, my DH has never been previously married and we've been together since 19. My feelings may be different it I were in your shoes.

Not me. I don't really care. I just pray not to have 12/12/12. Only because everyone else wants that date. LOL
