Hi!!!

I am finally here! YAY!!! LOL!!! Well we are 3 weeks PP and my little guy is nursing like a super champ! In fact he knows what he wants and isn't very keen on pasifiers or even taking EBM in a bottle. It has been 4 years since I had nursed a little one and I am currently reading Ina May Guide to Breastfeeding. Can anyone throw out some tips to me? I have an oversupply, forceful letdown, and tons of fat in my milk.

Congrats mama! My advice is too keep doing what your doing if he's nursing like a champ. Also I have a forceful let down as well... Never bothered DS1 but gave DS2 some serious stomach issues from chocking and gagging. we got on a routine of nursing with me in a reclining position and nursing while he was sleepy which helped tremendously. On the up side of forceful letdown....my DS2 is now 10 months and can empty both breasts in under 5 minutes. Good luck to you

Re: Hi!!!

Welcome mama! If you want, you can pump to help with the let down, but then that might mean that you will have an over supply for a long time. Otherwise, sounds like you and the babe are doing well. Keep it up!
