Need a thicker diaper cream
 

My 1 week old has a very red and sore bottom :( I change him often, and certainly when I know he is poopy, but sometimes he will go when we are both asleep and its a couple hours until it gets changed. I have tried earth mama angel baby and cjs butter. I really like them both and they work great with my 2 year old but it's not cutting it for the newbie. Is there a thicker diaper cream out there that would form a better barrier? Please help mamas!!!

Yep Burts Bees diaper cream is awesome for little guys and thick. You might want to use a liner, but we never have and have never had problems.

I slather sween on.

Burt's Bees worked well for us also... But when sh*# hits the fan, triple paste is where it's at. Not CD safe but it kicks the a$$ of all other diaper creams. Hands down. :)

We have awesome luck with Burt's bees multipurpose ointment. It's CD safe and makes an awesome barrier.

I really like grandma els too! CJs doesn't work for us :(
