WAHM w/ Newborn

I had been planning to be a WAHM for some time before my first was born but now that she's here I'm finding it really hard to have time to even get housework done, let alone any side-work. Everyone told me when I was pregnant that newborns are easy because they just sleep a lot. Hmmm. Nevermind the fact that half of the time they are sleeping you are also trying to get caught up on some sleep. LOL.

Anyone else out there have advice or experience becoming a WAHM with a newborn. Does it get easier as they get older?

I had to take a four month break from wahming after my second was born.

I don't WAH, but as far as things getting easier...well you will eventually get caught up on sleep, but then they will become more active and start becoming mobile and start getting into things...once that happens I don't know how anyone works at home! lol

I have a 3 month old currently.I had to slow and even close down my shop the first few months...I couldn't focus on sewing with the new baby and my 3 other children, I also go to college online so that was another thing on my plate! I have finally been able to get things settled enough to focus onmy shop again, If baby is fussy or wanting to be held I just wrap him and go to work!
