Thawing turkey
I bought my turkey yesterday, yes put it off and I shldnt have. It's frozen. Yikes!! I need to cook it Monday. Can I run it under cold water like all day tomorrow? Or any other ideas?

Re: Thawing turkey
I think I would leave it in the fridge all day today and then tomorrow maybe leave it in the sink if it wasn't getting anywhere in the fridge.

I am leery of defrosting things at room temperature, though. Maybe someone here can chime in on food safety?
