What do you need to purchase for baby?
 

So we went to the local BRU and tried to figure out what we needed to buy for this baby. We got rid of a lot of stuff we had with ds. So here is my list:
Bobby
Moby
Milk storage bags
Chicco carseat base for sitter
Swaddlers- Aiden and Anais
Bathtub
Bouncer, swing or something to set LO down in on occasion
Sit and stand stroller

What kink of stationary baby toy are you getting (bouncer, swing ect..)?

Other things we are going to buy:
henna belly kit
belly cast kit
baby book

Depends on what we get for our shower in two weeks but here is my list of must buys,
- a dozen more GMD orange prefolds
- a dozen more GMD yellow prefolds
- two more covers
- 6 fitteds (if they are not purchased for my shower I am going to buy them)
- three or more snappis
- two swaddle pods that zip up the front
- nursing bras and tanks
- breastmilk storage bags
- kimono baby tops (as many as I can get my hands on, they are hard to find!)
- henna belly kit (we are doing that too!)
- maternity photo session (not a "thing" but I am buying them)
- and all the stuff I need for the homebirth on my birth plan buy list

Who is throwing you a shower? I asked my sister to help me plan a blessing way and I am sure most will buy stuff because we are only inviting close family and friends. I made a registry but don't know if it's acceptable to include it in the invitations since this is our second baby. What do you think?

I would include it. We do baby showers for every baby in our family.

Include it, our twins ruined many baby items from just over use. That is why I have to buy so much. My good friend is throwing me a shower where most of my friends and family live (about 400 miles away). I never had one with the twins because they were born at 29 weeks and then spent 3 months in the NICU. So this is my first shower :) My mom is throwing me a Blessingway a month later in my home town. No presents at the Blessingway, but we are asking everyone to bring a piece of birth art. If the Blessingway was my only party I would put my registry info on the invite but that's just me :goodvibes:

a travel system but my gma is supposed to get that for us
extra car seat base
nursing bras and cloth nursing pads
mama cloth
cloth wipes
lanolin

-Carseat
-some sort of crib. We have tried co-sleeping in the past, but need a bigger bed, and a crib will be cheaper then a new bed

We bought a new carseat (previous one will expire before the baby outgrows it).
I got myself (another) baby carrier :)
Other than that, I think we're pretty much set...until she's born and I accept the fact that she's going to be opposite seasons from her big sis and will need clothes that fit her :D

We still need to buy another crib mattress, another monitor, another changing table and way more newborn aios! DS will only be 16 mo when YDS is born and is not ready to give up his crib yet.
