Cloth diaper question
 

If someone in your town made pocket cloth diapers for $10 that included 2 inserts would you support the wahm? Is that a good price too much??

I would buy one and see if it's good. :) Doesn't sound like too much.

That's a very inexpensive pocket! She's probably trying to offer something "affordable" and will lose money in the process. I'd try one, and if I were satisfied, I'd insist on paying her more of a fair market price to buy more! No need for WAHMs to work their butts off but still try to compete with the sketchy co-op diapers. They'll just lose money and burn out. :(

I think $10 would cover the supplies to actually make the pocket diaper. Maybe not much for her time.

Someone made me 6 small one diaper wet bags for daycare with cotton outer, pul inner, & zippers only charging me cost (she wanted to make for free) and her cost including $2 shipping was $11. These would have probably cost $8 each or so.

But factoring in other overhead like marketing materials (which she'll eventually need), her pricepoint is too low to be sustainable. I just hate to see her burn out if she does turn out nice work!

I would buy 2 and more if I liked them. If I didn't I would be sure to tell her why.
