Coming home outfits!
Do you have yours yet? What do you plan on bringing your LO home in? Also, what are you planning on wearing home?
I don't have an outfit yet but I would like to get a cute sleeper. I bought one special sleeper for both my other babies. I am hoping to have my favorite yoga pants available to come home in. I have 2 pairs of pants that fit me right now and I will be having a csection so I am scared I wont have something comfy to come home in. With my first I had an emergency csection and ended up coming hom in some horrible sweat pants that were too small and hurt my incision! I do not want a repeat of that! :yuck: |
Re: Coming home outfits!
I have a little girl coming home outfit ready. (To be fair, it has been ready for 3 years now since #2 was a boy). The boys outfit is a work in progress. The shirt is on its way and once it comes I'll find yarn to match and make longies.

I'm planning on ordering something from julesbulia on here. She's made DD's birthday outfit for the past 2 years. Last year she made an adorable Wall-e appliqué set, and this year she mad a Star Wars set (just got it yesterday). She does awesome work, so I know it would be super cute. I just need to come up with something GN. No idea what I'll be wearing home. I wore velour sweatpants when I came home with DD. :giggle:

I usually come home in yoga pants and one of DHs tshirts :) Baby will come home in a navy onesie dress with tiny white polka dots :)

Re: Coming home outfits!
Haven't really decided yet... I do have a onesie that we loved for Levi, says "worth the wait" It's white with baby green writing, so it would go with plenty.
I might do that with these longies for a girl http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...0/IMGP3483.jpg or maybe this outfit and these shoes, cuz I love them! http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...0/IMGP3479.jpghttp://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...0/IMGP3507.jpg I'm hoping to make some longies like these for a boy, and all ready have the boots made - they'd go with the onesie too http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...2/IMGP4670.jpghttp://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...2/IMGP4673.jpg |
Not sure what baby is coming home in, but after my c section with DS i wore a summer type dress home. I couldn't handle anything with a waistband for weeks.
Not sure if that will be an option for april if it happens again..april here can be snowy or beautiful! |
Re: Coming home outfits!
I was planning on having a girl outfit and a boy outfit for baby, though I haven't bought either one yet :) with dd, I just wore home what I had worn into the hospital- maternity capris and a t-shirt. I will probably wear something similar this time.

Re: Coming home outfits!
I just have two girl sleepers and one boy one (just in case US is wrong) For me I always take comfy maternity clothes because sadly I don't just loose my whole belly with the baby!

Re: Coming home outfits!
I have no idea what I'll be wearing home. Probably my squishy pants and a nursing top of some sort.
As for baby, haven't bought anything yet, but I was leaning toward footed pants and a kimono top from Under the Nile, since it heard those styles of pants/shirts make it easier for changing and cord care early on. |
