Prodromal Labor?
Is there any actual way I can get out of this?
I have been contracting regularly since I got up at 7am. No matter what I am doing (walking, sitting, cooking...) I have them. I am not sure I can live like this until I finally go into true labor. HELP!? |
Re: Prodromal Labor?
:hugs: nothing I know of, but I had that with our fifth. It's rough, but maybe your actual labor will be short, mine was only 27 minutes lol.

Re: Prodromal Labor?
If you have time to go have bath, then that sometimes will stop contractions if it isn't real labor. All the best!

Glass of wine and a warm bath.

Re: Prodromal Labor?
Doubt it. Your body is doing something to get baby ready for birth time.

Uh. I was there with my last baby. :/ super fest labor when it finally started to progress though

If I didn't want the wine they told me to take some tylenol and have a bath. And then try and sleep as much as you can and try to ignore it all as best you can. Once things really got going it was really fast for me. I was almost crowning at home when I finally even realized I was really in labour. |
Re: Prodromal Labor?
I had that about a week ago and my mw suggested magnesium. I took one and went to sleep. When I woke everything had calmed down. If you are in true labor it probably wouldn't do anything to stop it.
