Orally and vaginally, helps to ripen the cervix and bring on labor. Been years since I read up on it, but it works :thumbsup:

Great cervical ripening agent! I've seen it used with excellent results. You'll find a HUGE variety of amounts/ways to take it online, my midwife recommends 1,000mg orally from 34 weeks and add in 3,000mg vaginally starting at 37 weeks.

I used it with DD2 & my induction lasted 12 hours start (at 1 cm) to finish. Compare that to a 3 day long induction with DD1. That's my only experience with it.

Okay so I just saw an article/study recently that seemed to indicate that EPO is not as safe for pregnancy as previously thought. I will try to find it.
