Need a good trainer for nights...spam away :)

My son will be 3 next month and is fully day trained but still needs a diaper for bed. Lately he has been waking up to go pee but he always pee's a little bit no matter what it seems. We have just been using a large nana's bottom AIO but it is a pain to have to undo and redo in the middle of the night, I want something I can pull up and down for him or that hopefully he can do himself soon and not wake mama up when he has to pee.
We tried a flip trainer but was not a fan at all. Hit me with your good idea's for a PUL trainer easy to pull up and down while sleep deprived in the middle of the night. By the way he is tall and 40lbs

Tinkle Time Trainers ... made by either Rainshine Designs or Ladder Hill Designs.

I'd recommend Happy Heinys pocket trainers, Super Undies nighttime undies or Mother-ease Bedwetter pants.

Lots of other more diaper-like options but those may require your help to put on/off. Some kids do manage with one-piece options like pockets (FB L or XL) or AIOs as long as they're fairly loose but no guarantee there. Of course the advantage to the diaper option is that they'll usually be less expensive and sometimes they're more reliable (in terms of preventing leaks).

HTH,
Karen.
