How to baby gate a window??

I am loving the weather and would rather leave the windows open then turn the ac on. We have windows that slide right to left to open. Anything out there for these windows? I have one of "those" kids that would gladly try and jump out of the window and well it's a 2 story.

There are window ones.

how high are your windows off the floor?

Could you move some furniture up to it so baby can't access it? Maybe blinds will keep baby not knowing it is open? otherwise, just a regular baby gate - the $10 from Walmart, might work??

Just my ideas.

If your windows are too narrow for typical baby gates just go a home improvement store like home depot for exterior applied safety rods. You can order them online or have them customized for your home.

Black plastic mesh stuff cut to fit then thumb tacked or stapled?

Do not do that. A kid can push through staples.

Probably the ones that are designed for the tops of stairs are your best bet, they have to be bolted in and should be secure!

I hesitate to recommend anything that blocks access. Please make sure whatever you use doesn't impede your ability to use the window as an escape in case of fire.

There are window guards. Check out home depot online. They are specifically made for windows and can be easily removed in case of fire.

He is a climber :( so if I put future infront of the windows he'd use that as a str stool. I need to measure the windows and see how wide they are but this might work
