ANYONE ALLERGIC TO NITRATES??
 

I had a friend see my post regarding my DD coughing so hard she throws up and no asthma meds are touching it (very long story and I have posted about it on here many times) anyways she said her DD at two starting coughing at night till she threw up for up to a year till she found out she was allergic to nitrates...the coughing was the only symptom.
What are the symptoms you had?

Not allergic...but I get horrible migraines if I eat stuff with them.

My stepmom also gets wicked headaches from nitrates.

All I know is that when I would give in to buy regular cold cuts during a sale, I would feel particularly bad for the days if not the week following.
