post partum shapewear/support

So, any good recommendations for this type of stuff? For po' people? :giggle:

I'm thinking like Spanx for post partum ladies, or something similar?

I've never worn Spanx or anything like it.

I tried a post-surgery belly binder type thing after my last birth and it was too rigid and uncomfortable.

Something spandex that I pull on and goes under my clothes, that I can still use the potty in, would be nice, though....

Any suggestions?

What about belly band?
I pulled muscle recsntly and used it as a belly support. It held everything in pretty tight.

I'm mobile.... sorry for the typos!

I like Spanx but they are a pain in the as* to get on and then off to pee. I would never wear them until about 8 weeks after the birth.

I got a shapewear cami from target for around $14 after I had DD2, and it works nicely, although I should have gotten a different size than I did. It's soft and stretchy on top, so it's easy to nurse in, too.

the Assets brand from Target is made by Spanx, but cheaper.

This sounds good, except that I need something that covers my butt, too.

cause I have WIDE hips, and a small waist. So anything that is meant to be tight and cover my belly, will just roll up over my hips and cut into my waist.

I was thinking something like this... http://www.dhgate.com/p-ff808081331f...FQu0nQoduHkAbQ

But I have no experience with such a thing...

Don't they make something like this with eye-hooks in the crotch so that you don't have to smash yourself in and out of them everytime you have to pee??

If not, someone should invent that. I'll take half the royalties, cause it was my idea. lol

They do make something like that!! http://www.hourglassangel.com/ultima...FQeynQod2XEAmg

Anyone ever tried something like this?
