SBish OBFs--yay? Nay?

I hear these diapers are "magic" but that they get "stiff"? Can they be softened with Ecover? Are they trim for daytime use (like mutts, kiwi pies, etc.) Or are they better for overnight use only?

Do you like them?

They shrink and become stiff because the fibers seriously snuggle together, hence the amazing absorbancy.

Yes, they can be softened with Ecover.

They are not trim. They are a nighttime workhorse diaper. We use them for naps and nighttime only. They are too bulky to fit well under clothes and in my opinion are too much in the crotch area for my toddler to run around without the serging rubbing his legs.

I love them for night. We won't use anything else.

Very absorbent

Very bulky
Very rough around serging
Very stiff

We tried them, and didn't like them. We LOVE our overnight RSD though! They are always absorbent, soft and stay dry. Now, SBish knit longies we LOVE for nighttime though!

Thanks for the info! I wasn't sure if they were for overnights or not. I heard people calling them "overnight bamboo fitteds" but on the sloomb website it calls them "organic bamboo flannel" diapers. Thanks for letting me know! :)
