Help me use these...

I just went through my pantry (wowzers!) and found some stuff that I dunno why I have it or what I was going to use it for. S I figured I'd see if y'all had any good recipes to utilize the stuff...I know I could google, but I get some awesome ideas on here.

I have: rice four and fruit pectin (liquid and powder). I'm also looking for good granola bar recipes...I have all the stuff to make them, but haven't found a recipe that I like yet.

Thanks!

I like the granola recipe on weelicious (I use the one with choc chips). I also add flax meal.

I found another one on google that uses quinoa in it so I want to try that and I don't think it uses honey so the baby can eat it too. Ill try to link it later.

Make Jelly with the pectin! I think strawberries are coming into season and when they do go to a farmers market ad buy some in bulk at the end of the day and they will usually give you a good price. We used this granola recipe as a base yesterday and it was great! It was really easy to customize (we used honey, added flax, extra nuts, brown sugar on top, extra cocoa powder).

I can't think of anything to do with the pectin other then jelly or jam. You can use whatever fruit is on sale or juice (including frozen, just have to thaw and mix it first). We love apple jelly with cinnamon added made from apple juice.

Pectin- you can really just make jam or jelly, there are several jellies you can make from juice (grape or apple)
Rice flour - use anywhere you would use flour, to use it without telling use it to dredge meat or thicken gravy or make a roux. I just wouldn't use it in baked goods without xantham or guar gum to provide structure
