Favorite Herbal Ice Teas?

My newborn DS is sensitive to caffeine so I've been avoiding it and really missing iced tea and iced coffee. I tried decaf black tea and decaf coffee but it still seems to affect him. :( So, what are your favorite herbal teas that tase good iced? I have rosehip and hibiscus brewing now. Any other ideas?

I love peppermint tea iced. But I would make sure whatever you drink it won't effect milk supply, some herbals can. But it's been to long for me and I can't remember which ones. I think fennel in your tea is really awesome for a fussy baby. In fact we gave a few ounces a day to my son when he was a colicky little thing and it really helped him.

Celestial Seasonings has an herbal tea that tastes similar to black tea but since it's herbal, there's no caffeine. I like fruity herbals iced but mostly because they remind me of the Koolaid I drank so often as a kid. Any of the celestial seasonings zinger teas are good iced and Strand has one called Hawaiian paradise that's good, too. I have some fruity herbals and rooibos blends from teavana that are good too like blueberry, strawberry lemonade, and others that I can't think of their names at the moment. I also like iced chai made with roiboos instead of black tea, but I'm not a fan of just plain iced rooibos at all. I only like vanilla rooibos hot and I can drink rooibos chai lattes hot, otherwise it's just too grassy for me. Hibiscus is great hot or cold- especially when made up Mexican ponche style. Anyway, those are the ones I like. Not having grown up with sweet tea, I actually prefer unsweetened tea and black coffee, so none of those, save the first one, may meet your tastes. If you can find it, that first one is pretty close and will hopefully help you not feel deprived. Good luck!

Thanks! I like rooibos too, I'll have to try an iced rooibos chai with almond milk, yum!

Peppermint and licorice, or any of the zinger teas.

Growing (or just sourcing fresh) mint and lavender, then picking it and brewing it up, adding a touch of honey then cooling it down, makes one of the most wonderful teas I've ever had.

I also like Forever Fruit and Very Berry plus a bit of rooibos from the Frontier Wholesale co-op I run.

I bought some fresh mint, I'm brewing it tomorrow!

Fyi, mint is so easy to grow anywhere. In fact it usually ends up becoming a bit of a weed and is best grown in containers because it tends to take over.

One of my favorite teas or herbal infusions is Lemon Zinger by Celestial Seasonings Tea. You can find it in a store or order it online here http://www.dailycuppacoffee.com/cele...ger-25-per-box if that is your preference. Celestial Seasonings has a really wide selection of non-caffeine teas.
