Small house plans
My so and I split up...for good it looks like considering he's got a new girlfriend. Sooooo now I'm looking for housing. My dad has offered to build me a tiny house on his property (he has 5 acres) I'm jumping in it!! It's just DD and I. Anyone have some tiny house plans they wanna show me?? I considered a yurt but that's waaaay too much $$$$$. I want under 800sq feet is the plan. It will be heated with a wood stove and solar as well (well when I can afford solar panels). At first I was concerned DD ais 2. He says when we "grow out of it" we would just trade houses LMAO.

Come on you guys I know some of you have tiny house plans saved up hit me with them!!!

I love looking at house plans!
That one is 900sq ft but it looks awesome and roomy without being huge!

If trading eventually is the plan, design the house as ADA, no stairs, wide dour ways, etc.

Re: Small house plans
Have you thought about maybe doing a manufactured home instead? You can put them on a foundation/basement, or not.

This is what I was thinking. If it was anything more than a quick, casual joke with no possibility behind it, I would try to make a layout that would also make thing easier for him.

How fun!! So sorry about your SO, though :hugs:

Lowes and Home Depot type places used to have house kits. They generally had several sizes and layouts and you buy the kit with all the stuff and just build it. We looked a several when we were discussing building on my dads property. They are less expensive than manufactured/pre-fan homes, especially if you have someone to build or are doin a lot yourself
