How do you measure for wool?

Over a diap, or over nothing? :giggle: I've measured over the dipe in the past, but I keep reading posts for medium stuff, which I assume would fit a 3 month old, but my measurements are huge. Either I'm doing it wrong, or my little dude is actually a big dude. Or maybe it's that the stuff I'm reading is the measurement of the actual cover, and not the baby. So it would stretch. In which case, how much room do you allow for stretch? My ds has a 16" waist, 17" rise, 8" thigh. So would I buy something an inch or so smaller? :headscratch:

its the same with me.. just buy it from someone else with the size.. and see which fit better before do custom.. i guess..

someone can explain better than me.

as what i do understand that when u measure his waist the best is in smallest size.. if it says 17 and if stretch to 22 thats the best one for u. since it will be more room for ur son to grow into. i guess..

measure over your bulkiest diaper.

Waist: at the top of the diaper, all the way around

Hips: lower and again all the way around

Thighs: upper thigh (fattest part)

Inseam: upper inner thigh or the middle of the diaper (between the legs) and down to were you want the inseam to be at.

Rise: 1in above diaper, all the way around to the back and 1in above the daiepr in back.
