protein in urine?
 

What does that mean? at my last appointment my OB said there was some protein in my urine and my BP was a little high. just curious what that means? I'm 36 weeks pg now. Thanks!

those can be signs of pre-e. drink lots of water and try to rest as much as possible.

I had that too and it turned out to be pre-e at about 36 wks along. Just keep drinking lots of water like the pp mentioned and keep your feet up. I almost eneded up on bedrest but my bp was borderline. :hugs:

I was spilling protien yesterday :( R E S T was the suggestion I got.... nasty four letter word a mum of 7 cannot seem to get enough of.

Yes, sign of pre-eclampsia/toxemia.

do what everyone else said in addition to HIGH PROTEIN DIET which can reduce/prevent pregnancy induced hypertension (PIH) - high BP.

It is some signs on pre eclampsia. I have protine still over but ok BP so I never got it. I suggest drinking lots of water and resting as much as possibal.

not to scare you but i had severe pre-eclampsia and delivered a 2 lb baby at 31 wks. they took her out b/c of high blood pressure and tons of protein in my urine. rest, rest, rest and drink lots of water. you should be fine since your 36 wks along. good luck!!! :hugs:
