Anyone hear about complications while pg leading to baby sleep issues?
My mom had heard it on the news- I looked it up and it looks like depression or stress can lead to a baby having difficulty developing sleep patterns. I had several complications while I was pregnant- and my girly is basically a frickin miracle! BUT...she has a terrible time getting to sleep- she just struggles. Has anyone experienced this? Thoughts on how it ties in with the complications while pregnant? Any ideas on how to help my little girl? Thanks mamas!!

Interesting, I have had high stress pg's and bleeding threwout. DS 1 had sleep aptinea ds 2 sleeps like a dream. I don't thinkthere is a relation. It was only b/c ds1 had enlarged adnoids/tonsils that he sleep apnea.
You don't say how old you child is but I know when I put baby asleep on his stomach he sleeps better. He also like to be consoled when I pat his bum if he's fussy on the bed. (I am a cosleeper).
