I'm supposedly having a girl (based only on one u/s at 19w4d).

Today someone told me that I'm carrying low so she thinks I'm having a boy...

So, how did you carry and what did you have?

I carried high, and more up-and-down than out, and had a baby girl. I don't think that it has so much to do with the baby's gender, and more that it is just how women in my family carry :goodvibes:

I've heard so many times if you carry low you're having a boy...I don't know if it's true, I doubt it, but I did and I did have a boy. He was SO low through the whole pregnancy!

I was low the whole time with K, and obviously, he's a boy! lol

I carry middle with both and you can not tell from the back that I am prerg. It was the same way with ds1, although I have now dropped with this 1.

I carried all three of my boys very low and very round (mostly talking early pregnancy here.. by the end they all just fill up my belly), my girl and this one have both been much higher and pointier. Don't know what we're having this time though.

I'm short, so I carried all over by the end of it! And wide!
It has nothing to do with gender, that's an old wive's tale. It has to do with how your uterus positions itself and how your body adjusts :)

Hehe...I LOVE this. I carried very low, along with nearly all the other "boy" wives tales. Everyone but my mom and aunt thought we were having a boy...and SHE came out a girl. LOL (we didn't find out the sex)
