Re: One Q about fitted diapers
Haha. I asked the same question. I generally don't use covers with them because they're so cute. They're not waterproof, but if you get ones that are absorbant enough, by the time they're wet enough to make a difference, it's time to change them anyway. (At least IME).
Now, if I were going to put pants over them or something, I'd probably put a cover over them. But in the summer, DS is just going around in a shirt and diaper. |
Re: One Q about fitted diapers
If it's really hot outside I let ds run around in just a fitted and change him when I see that he's wet. His pul diapers don't breathe that well and he gets kinda warm down there!

Re: One Q about fitted diapers
I love cute fitteds. I even have some that are embroidered. It is hot here most of theyear. and i love to let dd run coverless. Great for her skin in my opinion.
My dd is not a heavy wetter at all though, so super absorbant doesnt matter. I know this questions is asked alot. But i think we all CD for a variety of reason. The often not so pleasentpart of CDing is CDlaundry. I love doing it though now, that i have more than flats and prefolds. Becaseu i get to look at cute dipes. My kids even get excited and want to pick out the dipes. Which saves me a trip to the back roomLOL |
Re: One Q about fitted diapers
:yeahthat:
It makes me smile to fold a cute fitted. It makes me smile to put on a cute fitted. :D What I do is I put just a fitted on. If I need to run out, I'll throw a cover (be it PUL, Fleece, or Wool) over the cute fitted. For the most part, though, I just do fitteds at home and change when they start to feel damp. DS's skin has looked SO much better since I started doing this. |
