Help! Stinky Wool!!

Okay, I need some help. I washed & lanolized some soakers the other night and one of them (as it was drying) smelled musty- almost moldy! The other soakers smelled fine- nice and wooley.

Should I just wash the smelly soaker again? Or is this a bad sign? :headscratch:

I don't see what it could hurt to try washing it again... except posibly wasting a little time. Good luck!

Is it new wool? I find that with new wool it sometimes takes a few washings and some yummy lanolin to help them smell go away...

Well, it's a recycled wool soaker. This is the 2nd time I've washed/lanolized and it smells now. I'll just wash it again. I am sure it will work.

Can I include TTO in while washing?
