Question about goat's milk

My dd is 11 months and is not nursing anymore. So, we are using formula. At 12 months, I would like to make the gradual switch to milk. We use organic milk, but what is the deal with goat's milk? It is easier to digest or to people use it because of the lack of hormones?

TIA

I believe it's easier to digest and is not as likely to cause an allergic reaction.

Much easier to digest and it's chemically about the closest thing to human milk. I drink it all the time (although I prefer the fat free...I can't really handle the strength of the taste in the full fat version).

..mmm,goats milk. I think Goats milk it just one of those good milks. My parents show and breed dogs and when I puppy needs to be supplemented they get goats milk,Ian went to goats milk for the second year of his life and made the switch from formula to goats milk really without any trouble
