raw cane sugar
 
Hi! hopefully someone can answer this.. i jsut bought organic raw cane sugar (for the first time) to use instead of the "regular" white sugar.

My question is, do i use the same amount of raw as i would have for white? i had read that i would use half the amount of sugar when using raw cane as opposed to white. I just wanted to make sure before i waste a perfectly good batch of apple spice muffins :goodvibes:

I think it would be the same amount, it's still cane sugar... I've used rapadura in recipes subbing equal amounts for the white sugar and it works fine.

yes - i made some banana muffins the other day using the same amount as normally... and they came out great!!
