So why you need doublers??Sounds silly, but I really haven no idea:cry:

For extra heavy wetters- extra absorbency. :)

I never used them till dd was older and now only at night. It adds absorbancy without a lot of bulk.

I use doublers with my prefolds to keep her from soaking through them in less than five minutes. I also have flannel liners that add extra absorbancy and some fleece liners to keep a dry layer next to her bum.
