CD 14 and counting!!
 

So I'm on CD 14 and counting with no sign of the big "O". No temp raises, cm is non-existent, no O pain (which I have felt in the past). I've been using OPT, but they keep coming up neg.:banghead: Anyone else in a similar boat?:cry:

I'm starting to wonder if I'm having my period without ovulating? I've heard that can happpen to nursing moms

That can def. happen, but not only with nursing moms! It happens to everyone, but most people don't realize it.
I'm using ovulation predictor kits this month to try to help me pin down my O date. Last month I O'd on day 28 and I had *thought* I was Oing at around day 15 before that. This month, I'm hoping to find out for certain and I hope to get my BD timing down perfectly.
DH has already committed to being there and ready whenever (or where ever) we need to BD this month. Yay! A willing partner! :giggle:

If you have a luteal phase defect, you can also be O'ing later in the cycle (luteal phase defect is a post-O phase of less than 10 days until AF arrives).

If it makes you feel better, AF teased me for 2 days before arriving with spotting, so I had 3 days in a row of "CD 1" until it was the real thing. :(

I hope I don't have one of those defects. I don't think I do, but whatever, I don't know what I'm talking about. LOL

When we were ttc our dd, I had gone off the pill in Sept. and started charting. I don't think I o'd that month, and my charts were wacky looking. I finally started to see that I was o'ing late--like cycle day 21 or 22. My cycles were 35days or longer. I got preg. with dd in January-while still having long cycles. So...you may just be a long cycler.

yep, that's what I meant by having a long cycle...usually you ovulate late, but af still comes about 14 days after o. If this is your first month charting, don't stress--you'll figure it out.

Here is a link to my chart thus far. It is predicting that I'm 4 DPO but all the OPK tests I've taken came out NEG.!!
