Sorry! I was cooking :)

MIL told me its a french thing? I dunno. Anyhow.... its a meat spread kinda thing, I love it. Good protein, I put it on a toasted english muffin :)

3 pounds ground beef, 93% lean
2 pounds ground pork
3 tsp cinnamon
3 tsp ground cloves
1 medium onion, finely chopped (I throw in the food processor)
Put about an inch - inch and a half of water in a large stock pot. Add all ingredients, cook on medium heat for 2 - 2.5 hours stirring occasionally.

When its done cooking I usually pour off most of the extra moisture. MIL crushes saltines and mixes them in to soak up the extra moisture. It's good either way :) Just don't take all of the extra juices out if you pour it off.

My house smells so yummy right now!!!

When I was pg with Corey I lived on it. I had such horrible all day sick, entire pregnancy sickness with him - this was the one thing that didn't make me sick.
