Wetbag holding suds?

When I wash my dipes with their bummis wetbag, I almost always have to rinse, rinse, rinse to get the suds to go away. I have this sneaking suspicion that the bag is actually holding some of the suds inside it instead of rinsing clean. I always turn it inside-out to wash, but it ends up rightside out somehow.

Does anyone think this might be the case? Any ideas? Should I just dump my dipes in, and set the wetbag aside to wash by itself later?

Or, I've noticed my travel wetbag (happy tushies) washes just fine, because it's two layers and the inner layer ends up getting pulled out of the bag through the washing process (making it impossible for it to fill up with suds). Is there a brand of large wetbag/pail liner that uses this same 2-layer design?

TIA!

Well, Happy Tushies also makes those same bags in diaper pail size. I have one of each size and use the large one in a 13 gallon kitchen trash can as my diaper pail.

Not your imagination. I have noticed that too. I've stopped washing my hanging pails with my diapers. I wash them with towels or other laundry the requires hot and doesn't matter how rinsed it gets...

I was so sick of running and running my rinse cycles. I'm even thinking about using a plastic pail without a liner for our inserts and just washing it between uses. Those darn PUL bags drive me crazy!

Okay, thank goodness someone else has this problem and I'm not losing my mind! Good suggestion about washing it with towels. I will try that.

The happy tushies pail liner might also be a great alternative. Like I said, I don't have this problem with the smaller one.

I'll wash my dipes (which I've been rinsing over and over since yesterday) again w/o detergent and w/o my wetbag when I get home. Hopefully that, plus another rinse or two will do the trick!
