Carrier for Dad?

For Dad to use, not to ride in! :goodvibes:

I wasn't sure where to post this, but I would really like to find a good carrier for dad to use. He's been using a snugli and he likes to have a carrier, but he's a really large guy.. Really broad shouldered to start and on the chubbier side at the moment (He has to lose his baby weight) :giggle:

I have a Padded Sling Eze (He'll use it, but it's really too small for him) and a hug a bub. The hug a bub fits, but WAAY to complicated to put on for a dad..

I was wondering about maybe a fleece pouch, but I don't know if they make them big enough. Either that or Baby Bjorn. It's just that the snugli has all these snaps and adjustments that are a pain (And I think it doesn't look very comfy for baby, either..)

Anybody have a bigger Dad that uses carriers that has something he likes?

My husband likes my Baby Hawk Mei Tai... he didn't mind the wrap, but he didn't like how long the fabric was.

How old is the baby?
A MT with long straps would be perfect for use with a young baby. Once the baby has good head support, I would recommend the Patapum.

We love ours. Both DH & I use it with DD. It comes with a belt extender which is perfect since my DH is larger as well.

We bought ours through a co-op a while back, but Attached to Baby sells them at a reasonable price unless you can get your hands on a used one.

My dh loves our ERGO :) You can get them with a strap extender and an infant insert as well.

Phil wears the Ergo with Camille in it for about 50 hours every weekend-LOL-and has for several months now. He gets major back pain from any other carrier, and loves the Ergo~

Here's a pic of my hubby w/ our little one in our Patapum Baby Carrier:

DH LOVES IT because its not girly looking at all! It also comes with a waist extender & very easy for him to use. Its similar to the Ergo but much cheaper. We've also been able to put our 3 year old in it as well as the baby.

You can check it out here http://bumstheword.com/catalog.php?i...3Fcategory%3D4.

Good Luck....I hope you find one your hubby will like
