Newborn tiny dipes??
So, my sister is having twins...they are very healthy so far, but we're assuming they will be small when they are born. She wants to use only AIOs (although I'm trying to get her to at least try pockets) I usually see people using KL or other fitteds for newborns, why is that? Do AIO and pocket makers even MAKE newborn size dipes? Feel free to spam me with any sites or dipes that you think might help! TIA!

Tiny poopockets are PERFECT for this! I ordered two premade and made half a dozen myself. I prefered making them because I could choose the fabric I wanted, but the premade ones were good.

Re: Newborn tiny dipes??
Tykie Diapers makes teeny tiny NB if you ask for preemie sized dipes. Valor Kids are also teeny tiny and fit perfect from birth!

Have you checked out They have newborn/preemie sized pockets and AIOs. They are a little on the pricey side tho. But I've heard wonderful things about them. :goodvibes:

Re: Newborn tiny dipes??
The reason most people prefer fitteds is that runny nb poo is better contained by a fitted with a cover over it than a pocket... 2 barriers instead of one.

Re: Newborn tiny dipes??
If Angelwraps still has XS, they are tiny. Spendy, though. And I think Lucy's Hope Chest has XS, too. I had a couple of S when DD2 was born, and at 8lb they fit her fine. ITA with PP--AIO are convenient, but DD2 was like 7 mos old before we ever had a blowout that escaped the diaper b/c the cover always caught what the diaper couldn't.

ETA: I checked the LHC site, and under "custom fitteds" she has newborn size. And they're only $8. I didn't see any newborn size AIO, but I bet she'd do custom.
