Well... Alex and Ellis have two syllables. Do you just want short boys names?

If you want 1 syllable, how about:
Jack
Jude
John
Sam
Seth

If you just want shorter names, I like:
Eli
Ezra
Owen

I like Max and Jack (do you want to call him one syllable or it to actually BE one syllable? cause that would open your options...)

I thought of Chase off the top of my head.

Re: Help! One syllable Baby Boy names

i think i could do one syllable as far as what i would call him or just short names in general.

for instance, if i went w/ alex his whole name would be ALEXANDER----
our last name is really long--4 syllables...my son is james and dd is ava.
just wanted to stick to short/one syllable, possible 2 syllable names.
