Pinching sensation?

The last few days, when I am feeding LO, I get a pinching sensation that shoots up my breast. It happens more often toward the end of a feeding than at the beginning, and more often in one breast than the other.

I thought it was just a weird fluke thing, but it is happening almost every feeding.

Anybody ever had this happen before, or have some clue what might be going on?

it happens to me too. your bra could be too tight causing a clog in one of your milk ducts. And when baby nurses, he draws it out. That's the pinching. Try using a looser bra and massage your breast prior to nursing. Sounds like your Baby is working hard to get that milk out! ;)

I used to get a "shooting" sensation when my DD was a newborn. It wasn't painful, and I assumed it was related to milk coming in. The sensation usually subsided quickly.

I've also had plugged ducts. These have been painful and didn't go away on their own.

I always figured it was just a sudden strong letdown... I had the same thing! :)
