I got some nursing tanks at target for 16.99 each, and I just layer one under whatever shirt I'm wearing that day. Then when it's time to nurse, I can lift my shirt, but the tank still covers my belly, and the t-shirt covers the top of my breast. Very cheap, easy and discrete. I got one in black, white and grey.

I didn't either! I walked around the bra section forever before I noticed a little section of nursing bras, and then over on the side towards the bottom - nursing tanks! yay!

Re: cheap nursing shirts?

i bought several regular shirts from kohls that work well as nursing shirts, but it depends on what style you like. I don't like to lift up my shirt at all, so i choose styles that cross over in the front or snap down. One Apt 9 shirt i got has a v-neck with 3 snaps, i just unsnap and pop out a boob. I found another shirt in the junior section....there are shirts all over kohls that would work as nursing shirts. It's sad that they don't have a line of nursing shirts in their maternity section...its an untapped market in most stores IMO.

Ooooh, link? Do you like the way they fit? Are they long enough? I could use some more - I live in mine...

I agree with the Target suggestions. I bought all my nursing bras there. Instead of buying nursing shirts I bought a few spagetti stap tanks that I found on clearance for a few bucks and wear those underneath my shirts. I just pull them down far enough to pull my breast out and then use the shirt I am wearing over it as a cover for the top.
