should your baby carrier match the gender of the baby?

:giggle: so i've been wondering....when getting a carrier should you match it to the gender of the baby? or can you wear a super girly one even if you're carrying a boy? is it considered your clothing? or would that be like putting your ds in a pink dress w/flowers just b/c you like it LOL!!!
sorry if this is a dumb question!!!!

I think it should match your clothing.... and you should have several to match it all. :goodvibes:

Yep, with a boy, I didn't want a girly one. People don't know carriers are part of the mama so they think my handsome boy is a "darling little girl!" :giggle:

I think it should be GN or the sex of the baby. I think if you have a pink carrier people are going to think you have a girl.

well, i have a girl so maybe i'd feel different if it were a boy, but i buy patterns that i like (nothing babyish of any gender) and that go with what i'm wearing.

I think it's okay for girls to be in "boyish" carriers, but it's not okay for boys to be in "girlish" carriers.

I mean, I think that's what most people think.

I just have some REALLY pretty (brown, green, etc.) GN ones. :)
