Wool care products question
I've just ordered my first few wool things and I know I need special products to take care of them, but I don't know what I need. Suggestions with links are greatly appreciated!!

Re: Wool care products question
Yay for woolies!! :cheer:

I use Sudz 'n' Dudz wool wash and lanolin spray

There's great info on that site in the way of "how to" as well.

And I have a fabulous wool wash bar from Blue House Soaps

I use the wool wash for just general soaking/cleaning and the bar if there's dirt or food or a stain to scrub away. Once the woolies are dry I spray with the lanolin spray (must be careful with this so as not to get spots, though). You only need to wash your woolies every few weeks or if they get poo or dirt or food or something on them.

Hope that helped. Good luck!

Re: Wool care products question
There isn't much you need if you don't want them.

If you have lanolin (like what you need when bfing) and baby shampoo you can wash and lanolize your wool.

You can use eucalan wool wash and lanolize with the baby shampoo and lanolin or just wash with the baby shampoo and then lanolize. There are so many ways but I started with just the shampoo and lanolin since I already had them.

Now, I just run a tepid sink of water and rub a wool wash bar over the wool and let it sit for 10-15 min (sometimes much longer if I forget) then roll it up in a towel and lay it flat to dry.

I have done the same with eucalan.

There are lots of places with wool wash.
Here is a link for washing your wool. Someone posted this last week and I thought it was great!
