Is it still OK to cook?
I took a ham out of the freezer last Monday and forgot that it was in the fridge defrosting until this morning. It is a fully cooked ham, I was going to bake it and chop up some of it to refreeze for quick dinners.
Do you think it's still OK to make? It is in it's original shrink wrap package. |

smell it and feel it. Pork/ham will get a slime and odor when bad

it will also get a funky sheen to it that if in light will have a ranbow metalic look to it. |

Personally, I'd probably still cook it, since it was already cooked. Just make sure you get the whole thing good & HOT all the way through to kill any bad stuff. :) I always use a thermometer when in doubt. |
