How do you store your fresh spices, fruits, & veggies?

Is there a way to store them that will preserve the flavor? I always buy them at the farmers market, but they go bad after a week or two. I tried freezing the veggies before, but then I couldn't down them when I defrosted them. :banghead:
Should I invest in one of those driers/dehydrators?

I only consume raw veggies and fruits so it is super important for me to keep them fresh as long as I can. I use Evert-Fresh and BioFresh bags: you can find them here. The Sharper Image just came out with a line of tupperware that is supposted to work as well. I haven't tried it yet though, it's called Fresher Longer and you can view them here

I can vouch for both brands of bags, they work great and are a MUST HAVE for keeping veggies fresh.

Thank you, tese sound good. Is there anywhere you think I can find them in stores-like walmart or target? Or should I get them online?
I suppose they would work for spices too, though I suppose you dont use those either :giggle:
Do you mean that you only consume veggies and fruits period or when you eat them, you eat them raw?
