To all who line dry

How do you line dry things with elastic (i.e pockets, and fitteds) I can dry my covers, but I want to line dry my dipes to try and sun out some stinkies. Any suggestions?

I do diff things depending on the dipe. I use a clothespin & hang from the tag if there is one... or I hang them on the side (if that makes sense) so that they are open.

I'm asking because I heard that hanging them can ruin the elastic. The weight of the wet dipe stretches the elastic too much. But I might try hanging them by the sides like you said....that's a good idea!

Hmmm I dunno hopefully that's not true! I've never had trouble though. Try hanging from the areas w/o the elastic if there are any then? But I figure putting them on their side will give it more support too.

I hang clothes like this too & they last. GL :)

I live in a condo, hence no yard, so I put mine on a nice drying rack I got at Target - it does have a "net thing" so you can flat dry sweaters or stuff, so I guess you can lay them flat. I just hang them by the middle and let them lay that way- no problems yet! We move in June and there won't be a clothesline, so I'm assuming that when I want to sun then, I'll lay themo n a blanket out on the grass.

I guess the pockets won't be that heavy wet would they?! Maybe I'll just see how heavy the fitteds are and go from there. Thanks

yeah, pockets - not very heavy even when fresh from the washer. i also have a drying rack and haven't ever noticed a problem with draping them over the rails...
