Does something like thsi exist?
 

I want a program I can put all my recipies in with a list of ingredients. I want it to give me a index/list that I can check off or choose somehow and have it give me a list of the ingredients for my grocery shopping. Does that make sense? I ust want soemthng easier and quicker than sitting down writing out a list, checking the kitchen then rewriting what we actually need.

recipezaar.com has a function kind of like that, but it will take a day or two for your recipes to show up and they will be public for others to comment on (if that matters).

After they are published you can add them to your shopping list and then it'll list everything you need for that recipe and you can check box the items you have and then print it out.

The only thing I don't like is if you aren't a paid member you can't add other things to the list online, you'd have to print it and then write the other stuff down (not that big of a pita though).
