It's a sad day ...
I am about to retire the newborn stash! :(

I can't believe I'm still using part of my newborn stash on my almost 6 month old baby girl! My first cloth diapered newborn ... waaaaaa .... I hope I get to have another or two (or three ... or ... lol!).

Serena is in NB OV muttaqins and the rise is just too short now. She fits it fine of the last snaps - waist wise - but her bottom is poking out too much and we've had a blow out out the back because of it. I just can't bear to stop using them! I will never sell these things ... even if I don't get the joy of having another baby, I'll save them for my SIL or some relative - if I can convince them of using cloth, anyway!

She also is outgrowing her NB Loveybums wool covers. They were the PERFECT newborn wool cover. She never even fit them on the smallest setting. Now she fits them fine in waist (and she's a few pounds over the 12 lb limit!) but the rise is too short. So now I'm having to knit her some shorties to replace the covers. I did buy 2 large LB covers ... I am sure she'll fit this on the smallest setting. My older dd can wear them too.

Thankfully I have more things coming to replace what she's outgrowing, but it's SAD! How crazy am I, getting all sentimental over diapers?! LOL! But they are just so cute and precious, and they remind me of the joys of using cloth on a tiny newborn.

I still can't believe that I was able to use them for 6 months! I was hoping for 3 months!

I guess I should be happy! I know my other kids wouldn't have stayed in them this long.

Had I CD'd Lilly I might have gotten several months out of them too. She was in premie clothes until she was 3 months old and she WASN'T a premie at all. She was 3 days "late". But congrats
