She put herself to bed!

Twice today! At nap she asked for crib please and she just did the same at 7pm. While its great she's recognizing she's tired and what to do to help herself it makes me sad...there was no rocking and no ni-nite story. I know its just a phase and it will pass, but sometimes independence is hard to swallow. :blush:

I felt the same way when DD decided ricking wasn't for her. I was sad for weeks:(

My dd has been doing this for quite a while now :) I love that she knows when she needs to sleep and will let me know :)

DS has been doing this along time now. He starts showing he's tired. You ask him if he wants to go night night and he waves to you if he does haha. And 9 out of 10 times he goes to sleep.
