Cheers for Allen's Naturally!

I just have to post this rave... I've heard Allen's Naturally suggested time and time again, but I kept telling myself I could make do with regular detergent. Over time, though, my front-loader has probably led to some build-up issues that I've been battling for months. I broke down and bought some Allen's stright from them (1 qt, came to $18 with shipping ). For a front-loader, I only need to use 1/2T, so it should last for more than 100 washes (I think?:headscratch:) Anyway, I've only used it twice, but I'm so pleased to find there's no smell to my dipes, and they finally feel clean! Woohoo!:lostit:

If you're struggling with detergent problems, I'd highly suggest breaking down and getting some. I'll probably save on water since I won't need to strip with 5 hot washes once a week!! Well worth it!

I did it. Just ordered 12 Fuzzi Bunz, a MOE hanging pail, and 2 qts of Allen's. My first BIG Fluffy purchase! :) :lostit:

Is that 1/2 Tbsp?

I think I'm going to get some, too. All the sites recommend it and I don't want to deal with build up issues later because I know I'll get lazy and just give up if we run into problems

You ordered directly from their site?

That's what I use and I have never had any problems. I just use half of the scoop that came in the box with it.

Yep - the site says that normal washers only need 1oz, but front-loaders need 1/4 the amount, which converts to 1/2 Tablespoon. And I just double checked their site - the quart is 32 loads for a normal washer, which is equal to 128 for a front-loader, if I'm doing my math right.

Here's the link to their site, and the quart size:https://host382.ipowerweb.com/~allen...c1a21e7558f53e

I use it too, and very little! Makes the diapers VERY clean!

Mine didn't come with a scoop?!:headscratch: Maybe its buried somewhere in the middle? I dunno....I've just been using one of those little measuring cups you get with cough syrup.

That's what I have.....I will probably find it eventually, I'm not too worried about it. The medicine cup thing works pretty well, I measures out to about the right amount. I just use I scoop and call it good.
