Do you use a nursing cover in public?
 

I rarely do. Just curious if I am too open.

As of right now she lets me but if she ever doesn't want to I wont make her :)

I've breastfed 3 babies and never even owned a nursing "cover". It would be weird in my circle of friends to cover up with something, but on occasion I have covered with a blanket if baby was sleepy and we were out somewhere it felt was distracting to baby. Never because I thought I "had" to.

Never have. I'm on baby #3. I learned early on with #1 to strategically cover my breasts and belly with my shirts.....flashing a bit of breast has never bothered me too much...flashing my belly, now that horrifies me! LOL!

I use a flat as a cover up in public. I don't feel the need to cover on most ocassions, but I DO out of respect for other people. I feel that some people are uncomfortable with a nursing mother showing skin. I don't mind covering up for the sake of other people's taboos - even if I don't agree with them. I'm not out to "prove" anything or to make a statement about how nursing is natural, a-sexual, and need not be hidden -- I just want to feed my baby period. Covering up just simplifies things for me, I think.

Never. I wear a camisole underneath my clothes always, so I just lift my top layer of clothing, with very little exposed, I think its less obvious than a brightly colored cover

When I nursed my second I used it sometimes in the beginning. I finally got sick of it and went using nothing. I never BF my oldest in public at all.
